Coins For Kids

Coins for Kids Information

Clothes For Kids is a nonprofit corporation serving low-income students in Snohomish County and the Northshore School District by providing students with a complete wardrobe of quality school clothing at no cost to their families. During the 2021-2022 school year, Clothes For Kids provided over 5,700 school wardrobes to local students.

Coins For Kids is kids helping kids! This annual coin drive supports the school wardrobe program of Clothes For Kids while providing a unique opportunity for student community involvement. We encourage all local schools to support this event, and all the funds raised go toward helping students right here in our own community. Local businesses, churches, and service organizations can organize a coin drive as well.

The Process:

– Identifies a point person to coordinate dates and materials.
– Pick your dates (usually 1 or 2 weeks)
– Market Coin for Kids (Clothes For Kids will provide posters, fliers and materials (zip lock bag per student))
– Clothes For Kids can pick up coins as needed during your drive and will count all of your coins and keep you updated of the running total.
– Make it fun! Schools can run classroom competitions or other activities to encourage participation in the drive.
– Celebrate the impact your school has had in our community

It doesn’t take a big idea for big returns. Coins For Kids is so simple and yet so powerful! Your spare change can make a difference in a child’s life.
