Coins For Kids Another Great Success
Lynnwood, Clothes For Kids is thrilled to announce that the students have done it again raising more than $24,000 during our Coins For Kids drive. Twenty four schools, including 19 from The Edmonds School District and three from the Everett School District and two from the Mukilteo School District, participated in this year’s drive.
Thanks to the support of our schools staff, students and parents over the past eleven year’s we have generated nearly $350,000 for Clothes For Kids and our school wardrobe program. “Clothes For Kids is able to provide school wardrobes for students in preschool through 12th grade because of the support of our community. Coins For Kids is a significant and continuing part of that support helping us to provide more than 2900 wardrobes last year.” Nancy Laird Burris, Program Manager.
Clothes For Kids has been serving Snohomish County since 1984, as a non-profit organization providing wardrobes for low-income families. Thanks to generous contributions from the community we have grown the program, serving more than 15,000 students in the last five years.
